ghartel no, but it will lose its finish after a while if you bang it around but worth every penny b/c it looks beautiful and if you don't bang it up it will last for a long time looking brilliant. The ring is gorgeous, I buy & sell these and know this is a good price. I'm thinking about getting one for myself as I can't buy it this cheap and I had a real marquise like this (smaller) and lost it and have been looking to replace it. Great price!
