It was originally released in March of 1978 as ABC Dunhill AA-1046 and later re-released on its successor label, MCA. The album reached #10 on the Billboard 200 chart and #6 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart. The three singles from the album all charted including 'Cheeseburger in Paradise' reaching #32 on the Billboard Hot 100, 'Livingston Saturday Night' made it to #52 on the Hot 100 and #91 on the Billboard Hot Country Singles chart, as did 'Mañana' floating to #84. 'Livingston Saturday Night' was also included on the soundtrack to the 1978 movie 'FM' that featured a cameo appearance by Buffett. The album was certified Platinum by the RIAA in the US.
