@scottish_gurl that’s a good question and I did a little research before I listed it. The company has changed its name to Trendglas Jena and traditionally the glass tea pot are made of borosilicate glass which is safe up to 450 degrees. There are instructions on the internet for use however, I would probably never do it. I would personally use it as a teapot rather than a kettle.
