That’s how the ad read. “J.Crew Grace Kelly Dress”. I’ve never of any such animal so naturally I had to buy it. The lighting was poor so I didn’t exactly know what shade of red/pink it was. Not to mention that it was new with tags let alone that it was 18 yrs old. What arrived was simply shocking. Time had peeled away and I was holding my own piece of a fairy tale. It’s flawless as if I was the one who slipped it from its J.Crew package so many years ago. It’s funny I never expect this from my vintage pieces. I imagine how their age and experience will rise up to fill in the lines of my own imperfections. Composition of the fabric? 100% Silk…. Length 40 1/2”. Pit to pit 19”. Waist 16 1/2”.. The color is a muted rose.
