JAPANESE SHUNGA ART HAND PAINTED PIN IN EXCELLENT CO 1807, UNIQUE VINTAGE

For sale is this authentic antique Japanese woodblock print on this pin. This piece dates back to around the Japanese Edo period, which lasted from 1603-1868. Specifically, this piece is estimated to date back to the late 1500's -- 1700's. It is made in the woodblock style of printing, an artist would carve into a wood block a "stamp" of sorts. Then dip it in ink, and print it onto item. This is an incredible authentic example! Pieces like this can go for hundreds or thousands of dollars at auction! This piece is in relatively good condition (see details of condition in photos). It is printed on an extremely thin paper (almost like tissue paper). It would make a great conversation piece. Don't pass it up!
