J L Menau Footed Porcelain Center Bowl - Vintage

This beautiful piece is a vintage (1934-1949), hand enameled German Porcelain Center Bowl (Graf von Henneberg JLMENAU Torzellan 1777). Hand enameled flowers cover the inside and the gold trim surrounds the rib which is pierced in 4 spots, and detailing on the feet. Bottom stamped green mark, painted underglaze, crown “VEB” over “JLMENAU” over ribbon wrapped shield with bird, flower. Ribbon reads “Graf von Henneberg Porzellon 1777 Made in Germany". Measures 10 3/4" x 3 3/4" and weighs 1 lb 11 oz. Excellent vintage condition. No cracks or crazing. See photos for details. A true find for your collection!
