J. Crew garçon cotton poplin shirt in gingham (14, blue)

This crisp gingham shirt is a classic style, with the distinctive element being the French cuffs, which are long on attitude and long literally. (See the fifth photo.) I love the cheerful vibe of this shirt. The menswear-inspired style means you can easily make it business casual, but the bright blue checks give it a cheeky sensibility. I also have a listing for the pink version of this shirt, which is similarly cheerful. I bought this shirt new, washed it, and pressed it -- but it's never been worn. Here's the official description from J. Crew: "This new take on the garçon shirt features a slightly shorter silhouette (that tucks perfectly into your favorite jeans). The official J. Crew color is "Barcelona blue." I would just add that personally I'm not sure I would describe this shirt as having a particularly short silhouette, but I agree that you could probably tuck it into jeans.
