Zip up jacket with hood. It definitely will keep you warm, it's not a light weight jacket. It has a thick layer in side. I think I only wore it twice, small pull as seen in last picture. Since there is a thick layer inside the jacket the hole doesn't expose since. No stains 100% Cotten
