seekristenshop @smartposh BLESS YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Like you, I have never given anything less than 5-stars. However, I'm starting to see more and more buyers rate things low because of fit. Just recently I experienced my first low rating but the buyer is attempting to get a refund while keeping the item - instead of just sending it back. I don't want to assume it's a scam but it sure feels like one. Any advice for how to handle?

smartposh @seekristenshop I’m so sorry that you experiencing this. 🙁 If the buyer has already rated you, then that means she has accepted the item and you’ve been paid. So I’m not sure how she is hoping to get refunded. If she was unhappy, then she should have opened a case to let Poshmark handle it.

seekristenshop @smartposh I also contacted Posh with photos of the item I took during the wrapping - hoping to prove the condition was accurate. Apparently through this is a known scam where you can contact your financial institution and claim the item was 'not as described'. Posh is going to work with me but I am so fearful this item was purchased only to get it for free. Would have been fine accepting a return, but I feel giving a low rating and then trying to get the item for free is just bad business/karma

seekristenshop @smartposh apparently so! I am sick over this, after selling over 100 items and only ever getting 5 stars - I just wish this wouldn't be happening. The shoes I sold I absolutely loved but we are prepping for a big move and she begged for the discount over months. I thought I was doing a good thing by giving them a new home, but now I wish I would have just kept them. I still love love love Poshmark - I was just stunned over this most recent experience.

smartposh @seekristenshop I remember my 1st low rating. I was upset for days, then I realized that it was not good to dwell on it and now I don’t think twice about a low rating. Especially if I know that I sent out exactly what I described. There will always be some people who will never be happy, or who will always find fault. Don’t let this drive you crazy, her actions have already taken up too much much of your energy. Take a deep breath, and move forward. 🌸

keri_ THIS!! Just had a case finally closed because a buyer said the size small I sold her must be shrunk because it didn’t fit and wanted her money back 😒 I do the same thing! As long as something isn’t broken or way off from photos, I move along and reposh 🤗 if needed.
