Italian Pizzelle Iron Waffle Maker Tested Antique Vintage Palmer Box Magic Chef

I inherited this in an original box with paperwork for a Carmen Palmer Pizzelle maker, but there are no markings on the machine and it does not resemble any that I see for sale or sold. It may be a magic chef or magic made iron. My guess is this machine was made before 1960 or 1950. It has latches in the back which allow the plates to be removed and reversed to blank squares, which were used to make a square pressed hot grilled sandwich. There is a heat indicator in the top that is working. I do not see this in any other pizzelle iron. Working and tested. Small rust dots on top left side ( see photo) heat dial printing is brittle and cracked Plates are Removable and reversible
