Vintage Issey Miyake felted wool jacket from the 1990s, in a rich tone between burgundy and cherry red. From the previous owner’s personal collection, originally belonging to her mother. The fabric is dense felted wool with a bouclé-like textured surface, giving it depth and sculptural character. The design features a two-way front zipper and raw frayed edges at the collar, cuffs, and hem — signature details of Miyake’s avant-garde aesthetic. Please note: all original tags have been removed/are missing. The material and size are based on close inspection and comparison with other authentic Issey Miyake pieces. I personally own several other Issey Miyake jackets in felted wool, and this piece is fully consistent in quality and construction. Based on fit, it is approximately a size Large.
