dodi989How well does this repel water? I’m going backpacking and it usually rains so I need a good raincoat. If it soaks up water it will not work. I know it’s hard to find one that truly keep you dry, I usually wear a poncho as well.

slo30@dodi989 hi there, I don’t believe I’ve been in a soaking prolonged rain storm with this jacket, i believe when I purchased years ago it was listed as “waterproof”, it is not Goretex tho. You could always add a weatherproof spray to it. It has minimal wear. Thanks!

whidbeygalWhen you have a chance I’d like to know what the pit to pit measures and also the sleeve. Pretty jacket🤩.

slo30@whidbeygal I can measure the jacket when I get home from work today, sorry for the delay! Thanks!

slo30@whidbeygal hi again! I apologize, I haven’t been as active on here as I used to be. The raincoat is approx. 21in across pit to pit. I posted an additional pic above, sorry about the wrinkles. Jacket has been stored in clothing bins. Let me know if you have any other questions. Thanks!
