cajt62 Yay you for putting this out there! The makeup I see for sale and that have sold just baffles me. Plus once opened, makeup is only good for so long, so how do you know how old the stuff is that you're buying. Making these girls and women aware of all this is fantastic!

lsu_shoegirl @cajt62 You're welcome. We have strict rules here in Louisiana regarding cosmetics & the rules are even stricter to become a licensed makeup artist; I would never risk loosing my license over back cosmetics, much less over bad cosmetics advice.

lsu_shoegirl @shuffman77...this can actually happen! These young people that say they "santitize" used cosmetics b4 they re-sell them is just a joke. Skin flakes off; bacteria can thrive on certain things we think is "clean" when it's dirty. If in doubt, I toss it! I couldn't resell used cosmetics due to the infections that are transmitted.

shuffman77 @lsu_shoegirl Holy Moly! I actually have only bought a tube of lipstick when I first started here on Posh back in January this year. Well, it was a discontinued color that was my FAVORITE! So when I found it I immediately bought it! It had not been used so I gave a 5 ⭐️ rating but boy was I disgusted when I wore it. It was so old and nasty tasting! I almost threw up and then threw it away! Cont.

shuffman77 But I am kinda stupid cuz I should have known better with that color being discontinued it would probably be old. Lol but I was mad that she sold it to me in the first place! So I am very grateful for this post. I had no idea and I won't ever order makeup from here. So you Rock! Thanks Girly!

lsu_shoegirl @shuffman77 You're Welcome! I'm a makeup artist & the rules here in Louisiana are very, very strict. If caught selling items, unless a distributor of a cosmetic line, (like Mary Kay, for example) you could get in trouble.
