Irish Dresden Ballerina Figurine, Georgina

Georgina loves dancing. Her dress is made of cotton net lace dipped in fine porcelain clay, this burns out at a firing temperature of 1,290 degrees celsius leaving its lace pattern in the porcelain and decorated with hand-made porcelain roses. This is a beautiful Irish Dresden porcelain lace ballerina dancer figurine. She measures approximately 5 1/2 inches high and 4 inches across. As can be seen in the pictures, there are no cracks and all fingers and lace are intact. On the base is the Dresden maker's mark and the wording "Irish Dresden - Georgina" She is wearing an offwhite dress that has slightly pink ruffles with five tiny flowers scattered on it. She is wearing gold shoes and her hands are gracefully in the air, each finger in separate detail. She is truly a beautiful little thing. A team of artists painted with care the delicate skin tones, sparkling eyes, and beautiful lips adding colour to the roses, hair and shoes. I have held onto her my entire life, but we are downsizing a bit. Hubby says it is time for her to find a new home. Hate to part with her as she is a part of history.
