Another thing: This ipod is the 4th generation means that it cannot be updated to 7.0 where most of the recent apps that we use today will not download that is why it is better for kids unless you just use it to listen to music, search the internet -Needs wifi., take pictures & videos and download some games. It does take the same charger as iphone 4. The most update is (iOS 6.1.3) is the end of the line for the device. But other than that works excellent (: back has minor scratches too.
