Introduction

Thank you for the support & ratings as I embark on my Poshmark journey. I wanted to share a bit of my passion story. 🖤 My grandparents raised me to be a collector. They grew my passion for antiques, novelty toys, and coin collecting at a very young age. I learned to count by rolling pennies. My papa used my adolescent eyes to help him read the dates & words on coins. In their retirement, they took up helping car wash companies by emptying the vacuums & cleaning the vacuum bags. Their payment was any money or cool things they found in the vacuums. It was hard & DIRTY work, but it was fun and felt like an adventure. We spent hours each week sifting through the dirt on homemade sifters finding their payment. It was always exciting to find a collector’s coin or silver in the dirt. I took it on as a second job for a bit while I was in college. But car wash vacuums became more advanced with self-sifting coins & weighted items out.. making my work dusty, labor-intensive volunteer work. I continued coin, novelty item, and antique collecting as a hobby. Aside from collecting, I love being crafty, writing, & studying history. My husband is a wildlife and powersports photographer. I’m hoping to spread a passion for collecting & helping to bring vintage decor to more homes.
