Intricately Carved Snuff Bottle - Decorative Only - Vintage!

Beautifully carved cream-colored Chinese snuff bottle with intricate details. Vintage! Can only be used for display as the bottle appears to have been sealed (see photo) or perhaps the intention was to glue the top permanently to the bottle. Brass ring around the opening. The chrysanthemum flower top is fully intact with a brass ring on its bottom. Sits perfectly on top of bottle but not snugly, as the bottle was sealed. The bottle is likely made of resin as there’s no such thing as white cinnabar. Or, it might be ivory or bone. The carving is truly magnificent with layer upon layer of images: people, trees with leaves, gardens, cross-hatching with flower centers, fencing, rocks and cliffs. Definitely a showpiece. Bottom is an oval piece of brass with raised lettering for signature. No chips, cracks or breaks. Smoke-free and pet-free home.
