There are no missing parts. The batteries do need to be replaced. There are a couple of issues regarding the batteries and the shutter. At times the camera doesn't flash when pressing the shutter button. I always thought it had to do with the batteries. There is also a problem with the film coming out of the camera after a photo is taken. After the photo is taken about half of the film comes out awhile the other half stays jammed inside the camera.
