Beautiful mid-century black wool sheath dress featuring an elegant hand-beaded neckline. Machine sewn with hand-finished details, including beadwork and interior construction. Fully lined with couture-style interior features such as a waist cinch in the lining and original strap holders for slips. Back metal Con Matic zipper. Originally had sewn-in vintage charcoal filled dress shields, common in mid-century garments, which were carefully removed due to age-related deterioration to preserve the wool. Amazing condition for its age. May have an extremely minor, nearly invisible snag here or there consistent with vintage wear, but nothing that stands out or detracts.
