The Infant Optics DXR-8 DXR8 Video Baby Monitor is a portable device equipped with an Interchangeable optical zoom lens and the ability to add up to 3 additional cameras (UP TO 4 TOTAL CAMERAS CAN BE USED WITH THIS SYSTEM!) I've included an add-on camera and it's power cord as well as an extra monitor battery and an extra regular camera lens. It also comes with an Interchangeable Optical Zoom Lens. If you look at the pictures I tried to capture the difference between what the regular lens looks like focused on my face versus the optical zoom lens so that you could get a good idea of exactly what it does. There is one additional type of lens that you can purchase i've seen for as little as $16 which is a wide-angle lens and that's a great lens as well! In fact I have this system myself with four cameras and one of my cameras has a wide angle lens and that's my favorite! I've already connected the two cameras to the monitor so it's pretty much plug and play! There's no need for you to set it up and go through all that hassle, as soon as you plug everything in it'll work! Monitor comes with the charger and it's just any micro USB to charge it which is cool. It'll be ready to turn on and if the cameras are plugged in before you turn the monitor on, it'll already be connected and ready to use!
