This Pakistani Suit, often called a Punjabi Suit, has its origin in Punjab and Pakistan. It is a three piece outfit made up of pants, called pyjama or salwar, a top, called a kurta or kameez, and the dupatta. The dupatta is a long shawl-like scarf, traditionally worn by women in India. Pakistani suits have recently become a growing trend in the United States, and are often worn for special occasions like weddings and festivals. This one was custom made in a size small, and is new and never worn. The straight leg pants have a flat front waistband and an elastic back and sides. The dress reaches mid-calf and boasts a charming print pf burgundy, mustard, and teal on a gray and white background. A stunning machine applique in bright turquoise accents the neck line and down the front, past the waist. The sleeves are three-quarter length. The dupatta features a black and white striped design, bordered in the same colors as the dress. The pants and dress are 100% cotton, and the dupatta is polyester. All in all, this entire outfit is an eye-catcher and sure to bring compliments at your next party!
