Incredible 1940’s Vintage Quilted Dressing Gown by Saybury

Incredible 1940’s vintage dressing gown Styled by Saybury.. This thing is really stunning! Amazing quilted fabric..a soft cherry color..there’s probably a better name for it.. 2 floral patterns printed..one in white..one in gold.. I think the white print is onion flowers..scapes they call them.. The gold is elaborate bell flowers, scrolling leaves, and more scapes.. The tailoring is exquisite.. Nipped waist.. Broad pointed shoulder.. Long Sleeve with a wide folded cuff.. Darling collar.. The midi length skirt has a huge sweep..almost a full circle! The dress zips down the front to almost the bottom hem with the original Talon zipper.. Lined with beautiful ivory satin.. Absolutely gorgeous silhouette! Really a special piece! Excellent condition…has a small dark spot near the collar..was stored in a wooden hope chest and smells strongly…needs to be cleaned Vintage medium bust 41” waist 28” top of shoulder to waist 16” length 47” sleeve length uncuffed 23” shoulder seam to shoulder seam across back 15” sweep 214”
