klb344 @fairyrelics it is its been very difficult, both so very loved. 1 was my buddy the other my husband's. I've been having a very difficult time working him. its completely different as an adult vrs a kid when loosing an animal and I don't think I'll ever want to experience it again.

fairyrelics @klb344 I agree. I had multiple pets as a child and it was sad and hard to lose them. But for some reason, as an adult, it feels far more devastating now. I had 3 dogs in my adult years and got them all as very young puppies. 2 lived until 10 and this last one was 14 almost 15. Each loss just got harder and harder. ….

fairyrelics @klb344 … Now, I’m all alone and miss them all so damn much. A part of me wants to fill the void and get another dog but I know it won’t be the same. Another part feels like, how can I go through this again.

klb344 @fairyrelics Yes absolutely it's completely heartbreaking. They say it's supposed to be even more rewarding to rescue and bring another. Thats why it hurts so much, each one hurts more and more because we love so hard. We have big hearts 💕 Thank you for sharing

rlifuentes I'm so very sorry for your loss. My own little dude is pushing 14 now and honestly, I'm going to be inconsolable when it's his time. I hope you are doing as well as you are capable of at this moment 😔

fairyrelics @rlifuentes Thank you ❤️ I was completely shattered and sobbed constantly. Dot was the last of my three, and each goodbye cut deeper. They were my living teddy bears and emotional anchors. After losing Dot, I felt more alone than ever in my life. Eventually the sobs spread out, but the sadness still lives in me. I can talk about her now without fully breaking, but her things remain untouched. Baby steps, I guess. ❤️
