This beautiful piece is entirely hand painted. The cobalt blue is one of the factory's signature colors. It is so vibrant and beautiful! The gorgeous swooping cobalt and 22 karat gold lines are a visual delight. This classic teapot is a bright, colorful handiwork by a master from the Imperial Porcelain Factory. The teapot is made in accordance with the old technologies of the Russian porcelain enterprise (the largest in Russia and Europe). The decor is made by hand using overglaze and underglaze painting. The bright, attractive pattern is ideally combined with the snow-white porcelain, emphasizing its beauty and pleasant shape. When I purchased this teapot it was called "Kell". I have not found another Kell teapot. The copies that were produced after 2005 changed the pattern name to Cocoon. You can purchase copies through Amazon but they do not sell the vintage original. The pieces are all unused, in new condition, no chips, marks, nits etc.
