When I looked to sell my very rare first edition copy of Comic Book Tattoo, the graphic novel versions of Tori Amos songs, I had so many friends beg me to buy it, that it became impossible to decide who to grace with this amazing book. So, the TORI PROJECT was born. I decided to deconstruct the book and make smaller individual art pieces so that many people could enjoy. This is one such piece. With the image intentionally crumpled and then put under the glass of the frame, the multidimensional nature of the work enhances the feeling of senseless violence amongst women, with the root of the argument being a man. It measures a mere 7"x5" but poignantly (I hope) speaks with a much larger voice. In a simple black frame with white matte. It is one of my favorites from this project and could be used as a companion work to "I Believe in Peace" And to honor Tori and her work and dedication to her fans, I am donating part of the proceeds to local LGBTQ+ programs here in South Florida. The funding for these very necessary programs has been cut drastically by this government, so I'm doing all I can to help. Consider buying one of the pieces I'm offering on here.
