Hi! Thanks for following me! Newbie question. I’ve noticed listings that offer “free shipping”. How does that work? Is that an effective strategy? Thanks!

@deborah_everett Hello! Nice to meet you! -I use the 1.50 discount shipping a lot. That seems to entice buyers. The free shipping I use on expensive items. If you offer free shipping- you pay for that. The 6.49 shipping fee will come out of Your Earnings. By offering the 1.50 discount- that makes it about an even 5$ the buyer pays( which the 1.50 comes from our earnings as the seller). Hope that helps...Happy Poshing!!! If you need anything else, please don’t hesitate to ask.

@jamiebabers Thanks! How do I select who pays the $6.49 shipping on expensive things? Haven’t seen an option to choose that.

@deborah_everett The only way to offer free/discounted shipping is to use the “Price Drop” button on the bottom right corner of your screen when on one of your listings. This allows you to “price drop” a private offer to your likers or a lower offer in your listing to the public( you choose which). At that time it will allow you to offer discount/free shipping.

One other way is to make a bundle offer to any likers from your home screen. Choose - my bundles and on that screen at the top you can select “sell” and choose discount/free shipping to the buyer also.
