An impressive iconic vintage 1950’s Saturday’s Britches from Lord and Taylor In excellent condition. Yellow pants from the Men’s Shop at Lord and Taylor’s with starched front pleats ,zipper closure with two sturdy fasteners and hidden button and late belt loops,There are two front slash pockets with deep storage and the back has 2 welt pockets, one with a button. Size tag is missing Measurements indicate Size 28 or a slim Size 30" Please compare to these measurements : Waist 28” * Hips 40” * Rise 12" *Inseam 26" *Belt loops 2" *Leg Opening 18" *Inside Hem 2" Length from back middle to Hem 38" The fabric tag is not attached.The pants are very well made, with possibly a heavy cotton duct inside the waistband to reinforcei the shape. Fabric is likley a blended cotton. They are unlined and probably designed for leisure such as golf or sporty dress attire.The dry cleaning tag is attached. The pants are in amazing condition and any vintage clothing collector will be very pleased. The price reflects the age,brand and condition.Please message me with any questions.
