Icelandic Wool Women's Cardigan

This cardigan was purchased in Iceland by my boyfriend, was tried on and didn’t fit. Never worn out and was well cared for in a smoke free home. 100% Icelandic wool The Fagradalsfjall wool cardigan for women features an authentic Icelandic design with the traditional lopapeysa pattern around the shoulders. The sweater was named after the 2021 volcanic activity in the Reykjanes peninsula: “fagra” means beauty, “dals” comes from the word for valley, and “fjall” means mountain. This “mountain in beautiful valley” cardigan also characterizes Icelandic culture with its loðband fibers (Icelandic lopi wool twisted into threads).
