ISO Towel Blanket Holders the fasteners CRAFTY Solutions for our blanket holder

This is an example of H&M 2023 The Faux Leather allows the rope to adjust. What I don’t like about this design is in one use it’s broken and no longer a blanket carrier. See photos (thank you ANDREA !) with the extras being made into long ropes to be worked with. I like that they are extras upcycled. They are going to be used in other ways but a bit too bulking for this project. I’m wondering in drapery or anything is there something that is like this faux leather piece that’s won’t break ? I tried triple sewing and all that and it just doesn’t last. Any advice you crafty poshers ?
