The front reads 'For your "DU-RATION" in Bed, This shortage situation has got us all perplexed - They've rationed SUGAR, TIRES and Gas and goodness what next;'. Inside it reads ' Now sick folks should get certain things that they're entitled to, and here's a special RATION BOOK to make sure that you do. There is a slot through the boy in blue that holds the ration book. The back reads 'A Hallmark Card 25 C102-3'. The Special Ration Book has six pages of clever and uplifting sayings for a sick child.
