Update: 7/30/2025 I was feeling some suspicious headaches similar to when I first got diagnosed as well as mild eye pain. I saw my specialist and unfortunately its back. luckily not as bad as my first time with it. I just feel like a complete failure. I dropped 16% of my body weight and remission was only temporary. Summer 2024: Iwas recently diagnosed with iih last week , it's been a whirlwind of an experience. please be patient with shipping times, I will finally be returning to work soon however it won't be easy. I am adjusting to my medications and really had a hard time with a spinal tap. Winter 2025/26: lost 20% of body weight still nothing unfortunately this diagnosis and it's medical bills have pushed my husband and I further from our dreams of moving to Michigan's Upper peninsula... all sales are greatly appreciated 💙💚 I'm open to any offers. mikatuhh Girl! I have intracranial hypertension too! Ik exactly what you’re going through. I was diagnosed last December. The medications do take a lil while to get adjusted to. I could barely eat for months because I just completely lost my appetite on the diuretic meds. They don’t work completely but make the migraines a little more bearable, you can say. Ice on my forehead & neck is a savior for me. Feel free to message me if you ever need someone who gets it:)

cottagewitchco @mikatuhh omg it's crazy! mine came on all so suddenly. they say it's rare. but I kinda doubt that tbh. reading other's stories has been interesting because 4 some people they've gone like 10 years undiagnosed and doctors didn't quite understand it. it felt like it just hit out of nowhere. I felt like I was finally getting my life back together after having a small PE last summer. it's frustrating because we want to move so bad and I just feel so set back and scared

mikatuhh i got diagnosed with a rare kidney disease called nephrotic syndrome in 2021 which caused a thing called PRES on my brain. I’m in remission now but in 2023 I went in for a normal eye exam & they looked at my eye & then i got sent to the hospital because my optic nerves were swollen. Did the spinal tap & MRI & the pressure was high & i got the diagnosis then. they said that the PRES most likely caused the IIH. I hope you have a very quick and easy adjustment & i wish the best for you🖤

kelseysboutique Thank you for sharing your story and bravery.❤ although nowhere near your own diagnosis and what experiences you've gone through, I am a chronic pain sufferer and understand the hardships that come with ongoing medical conditions and stresses.
