allthatglitter0 @theesarahadams Hi, it does not have back padding. It has shoulders and elbow padding. It weighs about four pounds.So not too heavy. the quilted inner lining does zip out to make the jacket warmer or cooler. I will add photos with the sleeve length for you:)

allthatglitter0 @theesarahadams it does have the inner lining that can be taken out, which would definitely make the jacket lighter weight. I'm just not sure for you personally how it would work.
