what_women_need @vgmess its hard bc she was only 65 and pretty much died be she was an alcoholic who just gave up on life. being an only child and the only family member that still loved her and tried to save her ill always feel like I didn't do enough. but I know I did all I could but it hurts bc in her mind I guess I wasn't enough for her to want to keep living. she stoped showering so I woukd come to her condo to take care of her

what_women_need @vgmess this time I showed up I thought she was having a stroke so I called 911 and when she got to the hospital they realised her right foot woz completely black and dead and she didn't even know it so they amputated above the knee. They were surprised that she lived through the surgery but afterwards they said she got pneumonia. she went unconscious 48hrs later no meds helped and she didnt wake up

vgmess @amyhaubein We have a lot in common. My mother also gave up. The end of her life was filled with depression and loneliness. It kills me to think of it. I also had no family it was just me. I’m so sorry, at least now there is no more pain,depression and loneliness for them. I would like to think that they are in a beautiful place for eternity!

what_women_need @vgmess thankfully this was days before they locked the hospitals down do I got to be there. but my husband and i think it was covid bc it all happened with in a week after surgery. the hardest part is feeling like I wasnt enough for her to want to stay alive. I think I'm equally upset and devastated and all my family lives in PA or NJ and im inFL.

vgmess @amyhaubein I’m so so sorry!!! I’m sure she wanted to live for you but depression is a very hard thing to live with. I know that your heart hurts even so.

what_women_need @vgmess sounds like we are in the same place. I deal with depression and anxiety horribly and if it wasn't for my husband I probably would have been worse off and stayed in bed. not ate, etc. I personally don't drink except for social events ill have one when someone buys me a drink but thats it. my whole family and cousins are alcoholics and they think bc they are young they won't end up like my mom and their parents

what_women_need @vgmess thankfully work let me take as much time I needed but I only took a few days bc just sitting at home I would have went down a bad road mentally so I just work alot to not think about everything do deeply. im just happy I was there by her side the night before she passed. I prayed for God to take her and get rid if her pain and a few hours later we got the call. God answered my prayers and hospice didnt even have time to step in

what_women_need @vgmess im going to include a little gift as well and im also going to include the wallet that did go with the bag. Sadly all the red leather on the outside of the card wallet peeled off but im sure you can color the white part with something to make it matchbox just peel off the rest of the red. I used the wallet with another bag just never used this bag and I have no use for this wallet now since all my kate spade bags sold

what_women_need @vgmess well I figured I probably wasn't going to use it again and someone who is creative can think of a way to make it pretty again. im grateful 🙏 for your purchase and I can tell you deserve an extra gift. and if you can get use out of this little card wallet and make it pretty again to match the bag or another kate spade bag you have, it the least I can do.
