These works were issued by a Continental publisher, based on designs by French marine artist H. Huguet, and printed using the intaglio aquatint/etching process. Both prints are publisher-signed “Huguet” in pencil below the image — a presentation signature typical of publisher-issued works of this period, rather than direct autographs from the artist.
