Amazing huge amethyst stone is prong-set in a silver Modernist split shank ring. The large oval stone is approx. 1.2" long and half an inch wide. This is an estate piece, sold as is as found. I do not know what the metal is. It tested as silver, but could be silver plated or perhaps sterling with a high polish.
