1. WAIST: For measuring the waist first button the jeans up. Next spread the jeans flat on the surface. 2. FRONT RISE: With the jeans buttoned up, spread the jeans on the floor or table. 3. HIP: Measure across the hip area, this is in most cases 1 1/2 inches below the zipper. 4. THIGH: Starting at the crotch seam and ending 1–2 inches below the hip area. 7. Inseam: With the jeans buttoned up, spread the jeans on a table, floor or any other flat surface, measurement the crotch to bottom hem.

karlynseidner@atlanticfinds ok so I measured my Levi Wedgie Icon’s (size 23) and the waist laying flat is just shy of 13 inches, the in seam is 27.5 inches. But when I measure my own waist it’s 11 inches so I don’t really understand the discrepancy!

atlanticfinds@karlynseidner so in modern Levi’s it’s 1.25” bigger than the jean size. So size 23 is really 24.25” waist.

atlanticfinds@karlynseidner not sure why it’s almost 26” waist. I would measure another pair. If they have stretch they will get bigger over time.

karlynseidnerOk so here's what I've measured: Frame's (size 23) 12" across; mid-waisted, they end below my belly button closer to my hips; they kinda fit but are definitely tight and have no stretch.. Levi 501 Skinny (size 23) 13" across; high waisted, they end above my belly button and are too big. I got these from Revolve probably 2 years ago Levi Wedgie Icon (size 23) 13" across; high waisted, they end above my belly button and fit perfectly on the waist. These are brand new with tags
