Myrtlewood is the rarest of all wood. This bowl was purchased from the House of Myrtlewood, also known as The Oregon Connection. This is one of the oldest continuously working Myrtlewood Factories on the Southern Oregon Coast. It was started in 1929 by William Beaumont.
Myrtlewood is purchased as logs from local loggers and completely processed into finished Myrtlewood products.
This vintage candy/nut dish is approximately 8" W x 2" D. Gold tone handle.
