What an interesting piece of history!! Made by National Potteries, Cleveland, Ohio, these green depression glass ribbed jars were made to contain tobacco. No lid found, most were wood and very rare. Approx c1930s
Maker is written in glass on bottom. Ribbing can be felt inside and out. One seam is seen running up and down.
Pre-owned, vintage, no chips or cracks seen. Great little piece for decor or to set plant in.
All items are sold as is. Questions are welcome.

Daddy, kept his filled for occasional pipe- had a wooden lid. Makes me smile to see yours. (I’m 70, so it’s old for sure). Elizabeth

@daffodildog23 Very rare to find w the wood lid. So Ga was a big tobacco producing area at one time. Glad you enjoyed seeing it!
