Mid-Century Holmes & Edwards IS Deep Silver Berry Serving Spoon Holmes & Edwards Woodsong berry serving spoon crafted in the USA by International Silver and stamped "Holmes & Edwards" “DEEP SILVER” with the “IS” mark. Deep Silver is a premium silverplate line with an especially thick layer of silverplate including additional reinforcement in high-wear areas making it more resistant to wear and enhancing longevity and value as durable quality silverplate. This vintage silverplate serving piece features the Woodsong handle design with a restrained leaf-and-scroll terminal and a deep oval bowl ideal for serving berries, fruit, and compotes. Measures approximately 9.5 inches long. Production limited to 1958 - 59 and now discontinued. Silverplate shows surface wear and soft patina consistent with age and use; no monogram.
