Holly Hobbie 1972 collector plate American Greetings friendship sunshine flowers

This is a vintage 1972 Hollie Hobbie collector plate by American Greetings, made in USA. The decorative plate features the words “Thoughtfulness is to friendship what sunshine is to flowers” in script. The plate is pastel green around the edge and fades to cream in the middle. The picture has Hollie Hobbie amid dark yellow flowers and a patch of dark yellow grass with a small tree. She is wearing a matching hat and a black and white polka dot jumper. The back stamp says Holly Hobbie Collector’s Edition Made in USA American Greetings Corp Cleveland USA MCML XXII. For decoration only, unsafe for food. The plate measures 10.25 inches in diameter. Very good pre-owned vintage condition. No cracks, chips or scratches. There are a couple of tiny pinhead spots on the back where the glaze didn’t take during manufacturing. (See photo for close up.)
