Hokusai’s “The Great Wave off Kanagawa” in Mini Cross Stitch Art

This mini cross stitch was hand stitched by me. Its size is 1 5/8” x 1 5/16”, and only a little bigger than a dime. It’s perfect for display framed or unframed. The Great Wave is a woodblock print by Japanese artist Hokusai, created in late 1831 during the Edo period of Japanese history. The print depicts three boats moving through a storm-tossed sea, with a large wave forming a spiral in the centre and Mount Fuji visible in the background. Note: Frame not included.
