The white wood frame surrounds an off-white/light-gray felt letter board. The felt ridges are the perfect size to hold the included black letters (288 letters, numbers and symbols are included). See picture 8 to view the back of the letters; the bottom has a peg/pegs that stick into the felt ridges. The letters are kept in a plastic baggie (picture 4). Change the messages daily, seasonally or as the mood strikes! In great used condition from a smoke free home. Slight dent on back (see picture 6). Measurements shown in pictures.
