themissnixon I'm new here (1 month) & just did my first trade. I was wondering if thee were any ways around paying the 3 $ standard posh rate plus 4.95 shipping. amplify0913 I've never traded, but I want to. I know it's not ideal, but why don't people just "trade" by purchasing each other's items for the same price--like, say 50--instead of just the $3 shipping? That way, you are covered by posh and there is much less incentive for a scammer to scam you bc they would essentially be losing out too. It makes sense in my head, but maybe I'm missing something lol thoughts?

cherryblast @kpridemore @kids_and_adults I just wanted to throw in my 50 cents. So, the reason those People got their closets closed was because they trade and have the ppl cancel on each end to get free shipping. Posh is now aware of This and is shutting them down. Posh does allow trading but it's at your own risk hence the reason ppl chose to not do it. I think if you are ripping off shipping labels that's stealing and posh isn't for that!

cherryblast So make sure when you trade do it with honest traders, And check their feedback. I'm sure Katie has a lot of honest ones since she trades a lot. I trade, but am very picky who I trade with. (As I'm sure Katie is as well!) Hope this helps

kpridemore @lilaweber Trading is allowed on Posh but there isn’t a way for Posh to protect us from scams. You just have to look at the person’s trade history and such. Feel free to look at my history and speak with some of the gals I haves traded with in the past. And it’s totally cool if you don’t want to. I was just trying to think of a way to get you everything you liked in my closet at an affordable price 😀
