wickedthrift My calves are larger, most boots won't go over them. But I love these, because the hooks...I know they'll fit around. Any thoughts? Are these are true sz8?

wickedthrift Also, are these an ultra-smooth nubuck? Like "regular" classic timberlands? The pictures are not very clear, but I appreciate all the angles! Do these run small, or are they a true sz8... slightly bigger?
