vixen676 @jamiiez I did hear about the sharing. The way I see it, when posh started (13? yrs ago), the feed was an important part of it. Manish had the idea of merging social app + selling site. Sharing is a positive social action, but was never required by Poshmark. Share groups were started by the community.

vixen676 @jamiiez Now that it's several years later, Poshmark has grown and things have evolved on their own. These days, there's too much in the feed and it's chaos, so Poshmark redesigned the feed to use an algorithm and produce a feed that is specifically tailored to each person based on your clicks, searches, purchases, etc. Poshmark is always adding new features because they WANT us to be successful sellers. That's what makes them money.

vixen676 @jamiiez But, I also think the community will create evolved types of groups that benefit sellers for selling on Poshmark today. I mean, we all kind of dread the sharing, anyway, so it's a good thing, right? 😄 There still can be groups that are strictly social PFFs, or groups that discuss ideas or groups that perform other Poshmark seller "positive" actions.

vixen676 @jamiiez I barely do the shows so I'm not sure how the sites will be affected. But to me, share shows are more about a seller hosting a show and being kind enough to be host for everyone, right? That will be the same. Just now, "share that out" won't be as important or needed, if at all?
