cynthia802 @kimle0921 Wow! It's been so long since you asked this question! So sorry! The 38 is the chest size and R means "regular"- not tall or short. (It fits between a 38 and 40, though.)

johnhturner If it is considered regular, that means it is not big and tall. If you would give shoulder to shoulder, as well as the outer arm measurement and the total length, we'd have a better idea of how it would fit on us. It is indeed beautiful.
