Hematite Anchor Pendant

This Hematite pendant is shaped like an anchor. IT measures about 1 1/4" inches tall and 1/2" wide. This pendant is actually Hemalyke™ (man-made), non-magnetic. Hemalyke is like Hematite and most people don't know the difference. The hematite is ground up and mixed with a glue binder before being pressed into molds. So hemalyke is identical to hematite but the former is less brittle and thus more beader-friendly. Hematite is soluble in acid so keep it away from household chemicals.
