liftingramma @shoedorg I comfortable wear size medium Banana Republic leather jackets. I have broad muscular shoulders but am small from the bra band down (32E bra). I wear a size 6 jacket at White House Black Market and size 4 pants most brands. Jackets that accommodate wide shoulder broad back and smaller waist are good.

liftingramma @shoedorg I look for pit to pit of 18.5" to be perfect and shoulder seam to shoulder seam to be minimum of 15 and 16 even better.

liftingramma @shoedorg I am a fit 122lb 5'3". I have muscular broad shoulders, so I wear smalls if the item is stretchy, but jackets are problematic if they are not stretchy. I actually measured several of my leather jackets this afternoon and they are mostly 18" to 19".

liftingramma @shoedorg Is it 16" shoulder seam to shoulder seam? I was looking at both jackets and the leather vest. I wanted a very dark brown (almost black) jacket so the banana republic one I think is too light. The other two caught my eye because the just look amazing. I need the pit to pit and length if the vest too:-)

liftingramma @shoedorg pit to pit for me, is measurement from intersection of sleeve seam and side of jacket, across front of jacket to where the opposite sleeve seam meets side of jacket. shoulder measurement, I take at top of shoulder from sleeve top seam across to opposite shoulder sleeve seam. For a picture, if you click on my name and view any top or jacket, I have a picture posted of pit to pit measurement.
