I recently purchased a patent white leather cosmetic case that is beautiful!!! But I was wreckless and when I took it out of the packaging I must’ve had ink on my fingers and transferred onto it because now there are ink fingerprints on it and I didn’t realize until it was too late😭😭😭 Has anyone been successful in removing ink from white patent leather? It’s a gift so I want to get it back to perfect!! Thank you so much for any advice!

vasyab16 Try using things like alchohol and nail polish remover. Or a bit of gasoline. But test it on some other unimportant patent things first. Then rub a bit coconut oil on it when you’re done. You need to do it quick because if you wait too long it wont come off.

itsmiafontaine Ink from clothes is removable with alcohol but patent leather is hard to remove,ask the shoe repair guy

The Mr. Clean😂 My baby’s first birthday party is happening tomorrow so my brain is all distracted! 🧠 But I have last minute things to do tomorrow and I will be sure to get this!!! passion4poshing Not sure if you’re still in need of this advice, but I’ve ALWAYS gotten ink out with hairspray. I’m not sure WHY it works, it just does. Lol. I hope it worked out for you!
