@baglady381 as stated in the product description it does require a new battery to work. So you will need to purchase a new battery separately. I have the item listed cheap for this reason, and some visible wear.

@emilylozano93 I suppose there are some watches that don’t work even when replaced with new battery (not guaranteed). I was alluding to that situation.
